maype there is a professional Cinema user!

how can i get a Cinema model devided by materials? i just want a simple polygonobject for each material.
means to undo all the polygonselection-tags for the whole model!?
group afterwards by materials.
is there a plugin/export-way to reach this with one step?

otherwise i don`t see a "economic" way to texture my models from revit.

thx
Hi huebner,

try the xsSplitSelectionTags plug-in. You can find it here:

Hello,

first of all it's great to see mac version of the plugin, many many thanks.

Question is:
Is there any way to load settings from standalone to integrated plugin? Because loading .ocs doesn't work. Is there a trick that should I know?

hi, unfortunately it works only for importing material nodes that are not inside material macros for now, but it surely will be improved in future versions ;)

Actually only load rootgraph nodes. But i can say in near future scene exchange will be completely improved

Do I need to purchase the Windows plugin in order to run the Mac beta plugin? I currently only own the Standalone Octane license.

Hi Mustardseedsg,

Yes, you will need a c4d plugin license found for 99EUR on this page: http://render.otoy.com/shop/cinema4d_plugin.php

(no need for the combo if you already have the standalone).

This will give you a c4d plugin license, that can be used on Mac or Windows (if you want to switch you may need to de-activate and re-activate just like you would if you were moving your license from one machine to another).

Thanks
Chris.

Thanks Fooze, I just purchased. Where do I obtain the plugin registration? I don't see it under my account on otoy website...

EDIT: Ok it's all good now. It just took a while for my account to update on otoy's site. Having fun now!
