I have a few questions regarding the .ORBX export/saving process:
1. Are instances recognized as "instances" inside an .ORBX file? If so, would instances make this .ORBX file smaller or more efficient?
2. Is hidden geometry in the scene imported to the .ORBX file or only the visible scene?

Thanks for all the good work you've done so far!
1. There's not instance object but acts very similar. They are converted to scatter node with many matrices. It works very similar way.
2. Hidden geometry will not exported to Octane.
Thanks!

I have both 3.08 standalone and 4.00 standalone installed, is that a problem?

edit: i restarted pc c4d doesnt freeze. I add a material those on 3 spheres, i get a crash...
I attach bug report.

Is It first time to try V4? Having V3/V4 standalone is not a problem. But another plugins maybe a problem.

Yes my friend, first time the stable version. I had tested the previous RCs as well, and i had similar issues, mostly cuda errors.
What other plugins u suspect? I use TFD/XP/Realflow/Forester as main plugins! thanks

All is better now with R20, no crashes so far on few small scenes! Its faster overall! One question, is this possible to have random color on this setup?

Hi, when i convert a diffuse octane mat with SSS to sub, it loses the transmission color.
Is that behavior proper? ty
