Cute superb render.. but doesn't it come down to morph, texture and HDRI lighting image... no disrespect, but Genesis just doesn't have the merchant base that people pay for.
But!!!! Super cool image!

I need to install G2 to test - which I will do in the next day or so.
Copy Contents from IM00016280-02_Genesis2FemaleStarterEssentialsPoserCF.zip and IM00016280-01_Genesis2FemaleStarterEssentials.zip into C:\Program Files\Smith Micro\Poser Pro 2014\Runtime, and install DSON 1.1.3.50. Then run Poser Pro 2014, click the Figures->DAZ People->Genesis 2 Base Figure, and get a blank screen. No errors, no diagnostics, nothing....
EDIT: Got it working (had to install into C:\Users\Public\Documents\Poser Pro 2014 Content).
All material import and export functions are working with G2. Importing and exporting a single material is working, and importing and exporting all material for the G2 figure. Tested with the Viewport open and closed.

I've been working with nothing BUT Genesis 2 Males and Females since almost 2 years now inside Poser, and have had no problems whatsoever.
Admittedly, in comparison to V4 the content base is not quite there yet, but the advancded bending, better morphing possibilities, HD option, higher polycount etc. definitely makes up for that.
Also no problems in using G2 with OctaneRender - smooth as ever!
Poser itself seems to increasingly become the bottleneck, however...

Genesis works reasonable if you have a singel figure in the scene in Poser. If you add 3 or 4 the UI starts slowing down signficantly until it completely stops responding for minutes at a time. This is with subd at 0.
I can have 10-12 gen4 figures in Poser without problems. Since almost all of my scenes are multi-figure genesis in all its incarnations it totally useless to me. DS is no option for me either.
So it all depends on what you are doing whether genesis in Poser is problematic or not.

I suspect what slows poser down is DSON, not Genesis. DSON is trying to emulate DS4 functionality inside Poser using slow-motion Python, so it's rather heavy.

have we fixed the "Turn All Displacement Nodes Off" problem yet... going through a Stonemason scene is so tedious finding the displacement nodes that have been set to displacement... time for some global settings that work... like... "Turn All Displacement Nodes to How things were before button"
