that sounds great
what will be the price for the plugin ?
it's the same as for all other integrated plugins: 99 euros while in beta, 279 if combined with the standalone (needed for new users of octane)...

Woow, great feature for animation render in DAZ !
You will make me regret having bought the package 3dsmax too early... :roll:

Thanks t_3. Of course, we will clearly be told when it is for sale, eh?

I hope the recent decision from Daz to disallow discussion regarding 3rd party plugins in their forums doesn't put a damper on this one. Sadly we can no longer have threads in the Daz forum focused on products Daz doesn't sell. Had it not been for the Daz forum I would have never found Octane to begin with, and not being able to chat with other DS users about Octane is a real knock in the head.

There are other ways to discuss things like this plugin & get the word out. I am also sure that as the need arises, something will come into being to meet that need :-) DAZ will do what they will do, and the rest of us will carry on & do what we need to do.

t_3, we're coming up on three weeks without hearing anything. Have we hit a snag of any kind? This last thing about the DAZ forums sounds like it could interfere with this plugin...hope not.

no. whether or not it is allowed to discuss it in the daz forum, doesn't matter for development. and i'm sure it will be possible to find a solution.

apart from that i'm about to send the release candidate to the beta testers. am a bit late with the manual, but anything else looks pretty good. if a find a little time i will post a last short video about some workflow aspects later today.

oh, and by the way, i was meanwhile active in the public forum, i just had forgotten to cross-post here or so;

aaah, gotcha. Yeah I don't visit any thread in this forum other than this thread and if I don't see an update I don't go any further. No changes to the standalone program really help me all that much at this point, so good to hear we are getting close.
