Not quite sure what is causing this, but with the new plug-in version, re-positioning the Daylight in Poser with the OR viewport open, causes Poser to freeze for a couple of secs and become inactive. After a short while the behavior goes away, only to return when you re-position the Daylight again.

EDIT: This is also the case when rendering in the viewport is paused.
EDIT 2: Only happens when you have the AutoRefresh set to "ON"

Hi, I cannot reproduce this problem. Do you know which release of the plugin it started happening with? (ie. which release was OK, and which had the problem).

Image 2 is showing the "Export All Materials For This Figure/Prop" enabled - so that appears to be working correctly.

The menu for Image 1 only has copy/paste - and you will get that menu if the material you right click is not used by any geometry in the figure.

nope does not work.
Does it display an error? Have you checked the Octane Log for errors? Is it importing or exporting that is not working? If exporting is not working, can you send me the resulting POC file pls? Have you checked the octaneplugin.log file for error message?

Okay I find the bug lies,

To replicate the bug is quite simple, take a Genesis 2 female character. And make sure the viewport is open and rendering. (You cannot import while the render window is open)
if you close the render window it will let you import (so it's definitely a bug)

Also when I try to import while the render window is closed.

It simply will not take the import settings

It's quite a strange bug the Genesis male figure seems to work.
In Genesis 1 base seems to work,

The bug only seems to be related to Genesis 2 females?
#I have tried to reinstall but the bug remains

no error messages

were do the logs files live again?

also if you close the render window.
and say try make the Genesis 2 female character wood or grass from live database,
it say its done it but when you try render it, it just the same as default.

Hey Paul,

I restarted both, Poser and Octane, and the problem went away.
So all good for now :)

I was unable to reproduce the problem. I followed your steps and everything works fine
I may have an older version of the dson importer (i use 1.1.2.117). Tried it with Poser Gamedev sr 5.1
