Phantom Scatter BETA 5.1 has been released! Everyone involved in the BETA has been sent an e-mail. :D

Please see the new manual for information and (new!) features: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fbs0yg1tygiusr4/manual.pdf

The manual is designed as a booklet. Please download it to your computer and open it with Adobe Reader. When opening the PDF it should automatically jump to booklet reading mode.

Obtaining a license

A license can be obtained for the price of € 20 and will last 365 days (1 year). A license is valid for a single PC. Once you've activated the software, the software will be locked to that PC. As long as you have a valid license, you will always get the latest version of the software.

To request a license, please contact me at the following e-mail address:

[email protected]

You will be given a link to PayPal, where you can make the transaction. As soon as I see the transaction has been completed, I will send you a reply to your e-mail with your personal username, registration key and download link to the software.

By downloading and/or using the software, you agree to the End-User License Agreement (EULA). The EULA can be read on the next two pages of this manual.

Should you upgrade your PC, then you can contact me for a new license key. Your old key will be deactivated.

Please check the system requirements before buying.
System requirements

Phantom Scatter has the following system requirements:

• The software is designed for the Microsoft Windows platform. It's tested and working on Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. It will probably also run on Windows XP should you want to.

• The software requires DirectX9.0c. I am well aware that there are newer DirectX versions but this ensures broad compatibility.

• An active internet connection is required so the software can validate your registration.

• A screen with a resolution of at least 1440x900 is recommended. The software runs in a floating window at a resolution of 1280x720.

Hi guys,

This is awsome. I love the enhanced window setup of the update.
This is a printscreen of the setup in Archicad using the per triangle scatter.
It works great!

You can see the rendering of this setup in the Galery:

Phantom Scatter is now available!

> Visit the Phantom Scatter website!

Everyone in the BETA has been sent an e-mail. As stated in the e-mail, I am currently working on an experimental new feature that will add a lot of realism to certain scattered objects. Stay tuned. ;) (currently at an early stage, details will be posted in this topic eventually)

Note that 1.0 is the same as BETA 5.1. :)

Upcoming feature in 1.1:

True 3D Perlin-based AREA-scatter functionality.

Simply enable "3D" on an AREA-scatter object and it will work. It's a bit more demanding so you can toggle it on/off for each AREA-scatter object as you see fit. :D
This is ideal for things like vegetation walls or other scatters that don't look so good on a regular (2D, plane-based) AREA-scatter.
