Hi er_beppe -> it's amazing that you managed to do this with our demo version, without a plugin, coming from lightwave.
I'm sure it must have been a very difficult and time-consuming process.

congrats, i really like the concept (it's very funny), and the amount of work that went into it despite using the demo.
Could you also post some screenshots of the scene in octane ?

hi radiance :)

not so hard to do, but it was a very tedious and time consuming process...

after animation in lw, i used some script to automate the export of all objects, and an other script to produce a single mesh obj-frames then during the month, when i manage my son, and i do homework like cooking and so, i replace objs, and render, frame by frame, then grab, and again... i used a generic screen grab then i paste on photoshop, and save, close photoshop, and again...

[a note, recent photoshop gpu using probably cause some problem with octane, be cause sometimes when i close photoshop crash octane demo, but it wasn't first time that i saw that adobe have mistake with memory managment...]

when crash demo i must restart from zero, read and apply all settings of materials and scene from my note, and start again...
i was lucky that i saw octane competion from start, be cause animation is a long task...
i must thanks my mother, that check my son for some hours during the month to have more time to work to animation, and i must thanks my wife, that allow me to work in the late night :-)

i finished just in time, for the end of competion...
i need a very long time be cause i not have a fast card, i had an old gt8800.
about screen grab...
i delete them when i crop with a macro of photoshop, if i know that you need it, i keep a copy of that. I just posted some grab for still contest and i don't think that i need a full grabs.

then to help you, i read again my note, and i reconstruct some frames to post :-) i hope will be enought :-)
this night i start with my family for a small holyday at sea :-)
i hope to find an internet connection to follow forum :-)

i hope next release of software include more tools to semplify animation, especially to use Octane Render in animation project, short but specially if you want to work on movie :-)
