i asked tobias pfob from blackstar but he said he has enough to do with m4d and iray

This abandonment of the C4D' plugin of Octane has become a big problem.
It becomes unbearable. Camera positions are irrecoverables - the animation mode is unusable.
There is not even announcement for wanted developers on the homepage of the website.
It will soon be necessary that I leave Octane render for another unbiased engine.
It's really a shame to get there.

What about Arion Render

i feel the same ,in my opinion refractive should look in to that problem a bit more ,from there site the leave
everything up to the c4d community ,it should be in there interest to organize somebody to build the plugin.
the c4d community is a very large one,and if i cant get a plugin soon i will change to arion sooner or later.

Cinema4d export animation to ARION not working~! so sad!

just to mention that i have try to involve an italian developper for the cinema4d-octane project but he was just assumed by Maxon and so he has refused
