Yes you can have two power supplies (only you have to use a paperclip hack to manually start thw secon psu or buy a special switch) I got mine set up like that, and I tried the flexible pci risers, the very cheap ones, one broke so I got 5 more, which I am not using now.. but they work, only you have to be really carefull setting them up and need to figure out a way how to install them safely
