I encountered the same problem, but I found that I was using a light preset (Environment Light) created in an older version. I have now corrected the gamma value for my ambient light. I am now getting the correct result.
Hmmmm... ok ok.
I will def take a look.

Could you share your scene with us? I went through all the color and colorspace changes miticulously, I would like to know where the difference comes from.

Let me investigate a bit more.
I can try to pack the whole thing, only essential elements cause full scene has proxys and lots lots of things going on.
