And every Jittered input should be masked before.
If this works or not, doesn't really impact that this should (hopefully) be a feature out of the box with Octane. Shouldn't have to dive through hoops and setups for something so simple (from a user perspective).

I know other tools and renderers have this feature, so i'm hoping what's there in Jitter can be expanded upon to include this :D

Bug found in regards to Scatter.

Projects containing 'Scatters' built with the my previous version 2021.1.4 open fine, but copying and pasting those scatters into new projects in 2022.1 causes an instant C4D crash (need to force quit). Tested on a few different projects and all behaved the same.

Wondered if its replicated on other machines or unique to me...

Good revisions and additions, but needs to work as legacy.

I'm working with old scene with scatters fine. But right this scene was done using beta 2022. Try import only one Scatter from old scene.

Thats what ive done. I tested this with multiple scatters, across 5 or so different projects. Opening is perfect, but copy and paste 1 (or multiple) into a fresh project is what causes the crash.

There are some differences for math and handling in clone hierarchy to give better results.Use old version if you need legacy,it's a change and no backward compatibility for this change. But I am not sure same thing we talk about.

Also post some capture to show if you are talking about crashes and give it with example scenes.

Interesting, im not sure if we are either. Opening projects with older versions of scatter works perfectly, its just when copying and pasting them..

I dont need the old/legacy features, but does this mean all pre-existing scatters are broken if we want to copy and paste them?

EDIT: I would screen cap but shadowplay isnt working for me currently.

Essentially I open ANY project that has a scatter and was made in 2021, click on a scatter, copy, file new project, paste, crash.

EDIT 2: With 2021 scatters, copy, paste inside the same project works fine, its just when its being pasted into a new project.

Creating a scatter in 2022 and copy/pasting it also works. Its just the 2021 scatters.

Probably you need to do some little changes within old versions to work with new. The same is for all other plugins also in Photoshop.
