Hi merid888,

Config.ocio is a file package which contains references to a myriad of color lookup tables (LUTs), python configuration code, color spaces and ICC profiles included with a given ACES/OCIO installation. This file can be set up as an environmental variable so that any application on a given computer can access it, or it can be loaded individually into Octane.

For Final render output, again in the Main tab of the Octane Renderer settings, make sure the Buffer type is set to HDR (Float 32-bit) and the Color space is set to either ACES2065-1 or ACEScg. ACES 2065-1 is the full range color space, appropriate for Octane as it is a spectral renderer, whereas ACEScg is intended for RGB render engines, and is a reduced color space. Either will work, and most compositing applications can handle the ACES 2065-1 spec.

To download the OCIO file package, use the link above. You will need the contents of the entire archive for the config.ocio file to work properly and offer the various options.

OpenColorIO-Config-ACES-1.2.zip

Adobe Photoshop cannot correctly show ACES/OCIO output without a plugin.

Good aftrenoon Parid4313

I been downloaded and I'll put the rute like image, in System/environment...\config.ocio.

I been selected the camera and change in Ocio view for ACES: sRGB.

In Octane Preferences Main Settings OCIO: Specify config file and I been selected the rute writing at end \config.ocio.

I been selected in the RGB image Color space ACES-ACES2065-1 and looks all blue, I don't know what i can do wrong following the steps like the link in you asnwer.

I think is so difficult to me upgrade the version 4.05 to 2021.1.5-12.23.

Hope you can help me understand how works with an example or scene just putting the texture environment and using Hdri for a realistic result.

Thank you again to you Parid4313

New image, I don't like the contrast, looks so pale for me

Exposition of Hdri is a lodw value 0.06, if I put more value the sky turns bluer
