Hi Alminia,

I'm not sure witch older version would work .. so here is a quick release update with the fix. [max 2020 to 2023]
In the exporter dialog, make sure 'Motion Blur sub frames' is enabled.

Entreprise 2021.1.5_-_12.23-rc1
Studio 2021.1.5_-_12.23-rc1

I hope that helps
Thanks

Hi Alminia,
I can't reproduce, It seems ok exporting to SA.
Are you using same plugin and SA version?

The "Use Viewport Background" feature is broken. It only shows lines not like in old versions.

Hi mbetke,
something seems to go wrong, I'm not sure if depending on new environment feature, sent this issue to devs.
In any case you can also try using the OSL environment.

I don't use environment here to display the background. I just hit the kernel checkbox "alpha channel" and "Use Viewport Background".
The lighting itself is made with a HDR environment texture of course.

So what you should see here i the viewport background image i configured for the 3dsmax viewport. :)

Hi mbetke,
Osl environment works like a background not an environment.
HDR Environment works as follow:

Hi mbetke, HHbomb

Thank you for reporting this issue. Sorry about that.

An alternative way / work around, and in fact a better workflow is to use an AOV layer for the image.
It gives much more control, and will work with normal render if you add a Render element for the AOV.
There is an option to use the image from the 3dsmax viewport background:
backgroundWithAOV.zip
(353.68 KiB) Downloaded 121 times
backgroundWithAOV.png
Anyway, I'll fix the issue in the next release if you prefer to use the more simple kernel option.
Thanks

[EDIT]:
This is fixed in 12.23.
Also, using the solution of the AOV layer had some issues with the image resize update. This is also fixed.
