Hi samsue,
Thanks for the video.
I could reproduce a similar issue, but without a sample scene (max file), I can't be sure it's the same..
In my case, if I change the Pivot (in the Hierarchy panel) of the RailClone object, the Direct mode do not match the correct position.
As a work around, you could try to reset the pivot to the object center
This should be fixed in the next release.
Thanks

Hi coilbook,
I'm not sure but I think Itoo manage meshes, not objects, so it gets the simple mesh from the octprx.
But only developers can fully answer this issue.

Hi coilbook,
It seems to work for me: (FP Pro 7.1.1)
That's just setting Forest pack display mode to proxy.
But there was another problem, when trying to use Octane proxy objects (octprx files) as geometry for FP, FP gets the simplified mesh instead of the full mesh. but that doesn't seems to be like in your screenshot ..
This has been fixed, and you can you both octane proxy and FP proxy mode:
Could you share a sample scene ?
Thanks

Hi,
I wonder if the "Nested dialectrics" setting in Kernel type is working at the opposite : if unchecked, nested dialectrics works.

Hi HHbomb,
If disabled, the surface IORr not tracked and surface properties are ignored.
Don't forget to set the material priority.

I noticed the opacity of my flame gets killed as soon as I move it behind the large glass (specular material).
