Because it doesn't magically appear or apply to every part. Rendering of orbx proxies are my implementation. It's a custom object and having a drawing function and full access to data for any stage. Please read my previous answer.

It sounds like Ahmet has a lot on his plate... I wonder what happened to Jules' promises of expanding the C4D plugni team (dev and UI/UX wise...).

Yes, I agree. I am so grateful for your work in making Octane in Cinema 4D outstanding, Ahmet, but it seems like someone should be helping you with the customer support, 3rd party support, and UI/UX.

Thanks but I don't think it's practically possible

Why not? Most of bigger software is not developed by one guy. Let me see it again, you are doing great work, delevering probably the best plugin integration of Octane. But observing it as an outside customer, I have the feeling a bump in manpower is necessary.

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to leave this here for anyone who had this problem or runs into it again, that since Octane for Cinema 4D 2020.2 the problem with Octane's support for SurfaceSPREAD has been resolved. A big thanks to Ahmet for his help with this.

Best Regards,
Alamgir Nasir
