I couldn't isolate the problem, but using OICO and on the fly converter material my scene closes at the time of rendering too

we can in a "near" future change with a click rendering engine ( brigade, anime, arnold,cycle,...) but we can't change of octane render version !!!!!
I'd be sooo cool to change of octane version without closing Max, re-insall, re-open,....

cast shadows on/off only works when alpha shadow is ON. Can this be fixed and not cast shadows when alpha is OFF?

Thanks

Hi samsue,
I'm the developer responsible for the 3dsmax plugin.
So I implement the various versions of the Octane Render SDK features for 3dsMax.
Cheers

Hi,
Thank you all for the reported issues in this version.
Several issues are fixed with the current RC5, like some ocio crashes and white balance crash.
I'll investigate the others and will release another test version soon with RC5, and the new AOV support.
Please note that the Composite texture on RC3 won't be compatible with the next version. (you'll be able to load the previous scene, but you'll have to re create those textures).
Remember that, as stated in the first post for this test version, it should not be used for production work..
Thanks
