It's tough to support anything earlier than 2017 or later GPUs. I also don't think that system has AVX2.natemac00 wrote:I'm assuming there is no love for the 2013 Mac Pro with dual D700?
Yes - updated the FAQ to note that only 10.15.6 is supported!plasmapeppers wrote:Wow! How much more exciting can it get - but when I try to use the PR1 Standalone demo it keeps failing. Octane's Log says
Not sure what's wrong here - its just a default cube. I am running a 2018 Mac mini i7 32GB with a Radeon VII eGPU - on macOS 11 Big Sur Beta 2(maybe thats what is wrong?)Code: Select all

With an external GPU using an AMD card, that should work?Goldorak wrote:It's tough to support anything earlier than 2017 or later GPUs. I also don't think that system has AVX2.natemac00 wrote:I'm assuming there is no love for the 2013 Mac Pro with dual D700?

We held back on Intel GPU support until macOS 11 mainly to get better driver support and hopefully more speed (maybe more like 23 OB). Anything earlier than Vega or Navi is not supported in this release. I'd wait for Big Navi - not sure how support for 580 may turn out TBH.cjadams wrote:I notice that I cannot select either my intel graphics (yes pathetic 15 on OB) but still would be good for somethings.. or my RX580
Will the 580 even be possible or should I get a newer card and wait for Big Navi? If I select them then go out and back in again they are de-selected.
