Hi,
which version are you using exactly?
Please make sure to have upgraded to 2020.1.5.
That issue should have been already fixed, and was caused by unexpected aspect ratio, with pixels lower than one, in Live View, like 800,5x401,5.

So is the AI Up-Sampler just a way to render a lower res image then stretching it back to higher res at completion?
Or does the AI do some form of upscale detail-preservation aswell? like photoshops detail-preserve 2.0

Honestly, I feel it's broken. A few versions ago it clearly did *something *with edge detection and upsample like those online ai upsample tools.
Now it just outputs a bilinear upscale image, with no benefits whatsoever.
It makes no sense that this would only work on preview when 'upscale on completion' option exists.

Does not work, just another OTOY market and abandone strategy.
