It may be because I'm still running OSX 10.12.6 Beppe. When I get a break I'll update everything.

Where do I find c4doctanelog.txt?

Hi,
please, open the scene, then go to c4doctane Settings/Others tab, and, at the bottom of the panel, enable all the Log option checkboxes:

Then, load the scene in Live View, then in Picture Viewer, or until crash, and share the c4doctanelog.txt file that you find in c4doctane directory, or in the path specified in Settings/Others panel, thanks.

For bugreport.txt, please have a look at here:

Please, also go to Apple menu, About this Mac, then press the System Report button, then go to menu File/Save, and share the resulting .spx file, thanks.

ciao Beppe

We're still running 10.12.6 on most of our Macs, and haven't seen the problem you are experiencing. The particular machine I'm sitting at right now is using:

OS 10.12.6
Web Driver 378.05.05.25f04
Cuda Driver 387.178
C4D R21
Octane 2019.1.4

Everything has been stable for quite a while, so we haven't touched any system or driver updates in over a year.

One difference, though, is that we recently jumped from R19/Octane 4 straight to R21/Octane 2019, skipping R20 all together. I think there were a lot of problems with R20 because it was a major transition for Maxon.
