When I said "cases" I was typing in a hurry, it is only the main use case I can think of whereby we would like to be able to have slaves that never lose authentication, but also float artists across machines according to capacity - so dongle standalone but floating plugins.

Could you follow up with the support team and provide them with all the information they request, including Octane logs and system profiling so we can either fix it or figure if there's an issue with your setup causing your authentication information to become invalid?
