Octane has been offering subscription for a while, so you don't need to pay for a full license if that suits you better:

No worries it seemed to still wotk with windows 7 and with the gt710 of im right in saying would this still be the case ??

That is a Fermi card which is still supported by all Octane v3 releases. Note that due to NVidia removing support for this architecture it needs to be removed from the list of HW that Octane will support so we can allow usage of newer hardware, this will happen in V4.
