I noticed that instances are not updating in the IPR window in Lightwave 2018.0.3 in the latest Octane version and the previous version as well. Has anyone else noticed this
Just so you know the latest Octane version and the previous version updates instance perfectly in LW2015.3
Looks like it might be a LW2018 bug

As I remember I always had to scrub a frame to the right and then back one frame for IPR to pick up changes I did to instancers. Same as it is now.

Really that's strange, I don't have to do that in LW 2015.3 I just change the number of instances and they update automatically with no problem Unfortunately this does not work in LW2018

I was referring to a case when I change the object in Modeler on which instances are distributed and then go back to Layout, instances are updated in viewport but not in IPR, then I have to scrub for IPR to pick it up.

Is this in 2015.3 or 2018. I just tried what you said in 2015.3 and it updates automatically no need to move the time frame.

sorry to bother you again with this question, but it is normal to have to connect to internet each time a LW 2018 session is opened, to activate the plugin ?
because i prefer to keep my workstation out of the net as most as possible ....

I don't think you can displace fibers. UVs can be used for color, but I don't think Octane Hair Primitive can be displaced.
