what issue do you have with Motion vector pass ? I see it works in maya 2016
and last time I used it, it was working out-of-the-box in Fusion with the Vector blur node ( motion vector pass was just a joke in old Octane Core but was fixed around 3.06 )

So to use it you just need to activate motion-blur (time shutter >0) and enable the vector pass.

Yep, we already tried but it doesn't work. We will give it a try on the 2018 version then
But I just tried in Maya 2016, and it works, maybe was broken in 12.15 and fixed in 12.19

Hi Ciboulot,

I was reading your points I think some stuff are related Standalone I advise to also post on the Standalone section for this particular requests. Also many of others is actually a way to have it you can go to Skype group and ask us.
I guess some videos will be great at some point.

Hi Bikram,

I'm testing and I'm really happy with some fixes and the camera override (like rendertarget on standalone) what is missing the the node "Render layer" right now is on render settings on a other tab, usually on our workflow at Standalone we use different "render layers" settings for each render target node.

This would be great for extra and custom passes, based on the layers we want see will be more flexible as Standalone.

For me this would be a great change. the same way you have setup for passes on the same render settings tab add a place for render layer and aloud to override per camera. Please

The samples per frame attribute for Transform node must be non-keyable or hidden non-keyable in the channel box by default,
"non keyable" in Maya doesn't mean an attribute is really not keyable,
it just means that the attribute won't be keyed each time the user key the object (S key or autokey) but the attribute is still keyable in attribute editor and in the channel box (context menu).

On the contrary if the attribute is "keyable" by default in the channel box, it will be keyed each time any transform will be keyed,
adding many useless keys and curves, so will clutter Graph editor for nothing, and on top of that this will trigger a bug with animation layers (as it already happen last time you tried to let a transform "keyable" attribute in channel editor.)

MAYA RENDER LAYERS and OVERRIDE
It seems it's' working with the recent and the previous branch. Would you please share us a sample scene?
MOTION VECTOR 2D PASS

This works correctly too.. we would try to upload a video on MB and MV 2D pass later this week.
REMAP TEXTURE NODE, GRADIENT TEXTURE (When would it be possible to get simple u ramp, v ramp, circle ramp, radial ramp, etc.) & SHADOW CATCHER ATTRIBUTE
Maybe these features are more related to SA feature request.
But, still, no visual feedback in the attribute editor?
Do you mean the color visual feedback or in IPR render? Try using ORBX material> Octane Gradient node.

Also, there is a workaround to use Maya's U,V, Circle, Radial etc.. or any Maya texture using the Octane Image texture node>"Baking Input pin" to bake Maya texture on the fly.
Please note, using this feature would impact the speed of your workstation.

BUGS
1. Could you please send me a sample of the Maya render layers with more details?

2. Try to enable "Pre-multiplied Alpha" from the "Imager" node and see if this fix the issue.

3. Visibility is working when we are using Maya HIDE/SHOW in viewport render. or is it something else?[/b]

- This is confirmed as Maya bug. It would not affect anything during the production workflow.
MOTION BLUR
Actually, there are only two new parameters in OFM "samples per frame" settings in both global and object's settings to smooth the motion blur and "The shutter time(%of frames)" from the Motion blur section.
Also, the Object settings Samples per frames can be used to override the global settings.

RENDERER NOT RESPONDING
Not sure if anyone has encountered the same issue? Please let us know if this happens with this release.
