Is there still no way to use voxel Cd data to color volumes directly?

Nope, sorry, this is not possible currently. Perhaps a workaround could be to extract each master volume RGB grids to three additional volume objects and render them each one using a volume shader with the right RGB absorption or emission color.

Time after time I get the message in the console (Houdini Indie 16.5.405): " *** OCTANE API MSG: ORC subscription status cannot be found" — not critical but annoying... (

Perhaps this problem has been fixed in the just released 3.08 RC2 SDK. I'll try to release a new plugin build as soon as possible (including also the Linux and OSX builds) to see if the message is gone.

Not so far, but let's try to close first the production-ready Octane 3.08 plugin

... I'll release a new RC plugin build next week with the latest Octane core and the builds for Linux/OSX.

In this build? The problems with the lights scale in the H16.5 had been fixed in this RC1 build, but if you can reproduce this problem, please let me know. What kind of scaling doesn't work?

Hi Juanjo, I would love to try this new release, but Octane can't find my GPUs, no error message before that, octane HDAs loaded fine.
I never had this issue before. Any idea ?
