I confirm the issue, image sequence is not saved, that's quite annoying.

Thanks Juanjo - great news! Coinciding with the new bug-fix release of 2018 this gives me the impetus to finally open 2018 :)

Thanks for this.

I'm having some problems though. To be sure I wasn't doing anything stupid, I downlaoded the 2018.0.2 update so that I was starting on a new install.

I downloaded the Plugin.
I made sure I extracted the 2018 version
I coped the files you need to copy and put them in the bin folder (as normal) of the 2018.0.2 install
I added the plug in
I installed the menu tree.

This is where the first thing happened, this duplicated all my existing menues (see image).

Also, when I go to the octane tab, I don't see any of the tools (see image)

Any ideas?

It took 3 attempts for it to stick, for me.
I didn't follow the procedure of quitting and restarting on at least one of the attempts.
Or, as happened for me, on the third try, I deleted the menus and re-added them: everything showed up.

It happened with my already installed 2018.0.1. So I downloaded and installed a clean 2018.0.2 and it was the same. So this is with a completely clean install.

In LightWave 2018 all the images must be exported from the passes node, including the beauty pass. The new LightWave 2018 buffers system is not supported yet.

Thanks,

The same, you must export the images using the path/file options available in the passes node, like if you were working with the Standalone. The LightWave 2018 buffers system is not supported yet.

Hmm, you don't need to copy any file to the LightWave bin folder, this was a really old install procedure. All the needed files are now located in the same place used by the plugin .p file, so you only need:

- Extract the plugin folders from the .zip file to any HD location.
- Add to the Layout the plugin .p file (the one for your LightWave version)
- Add the menu branch

You don't need to make anything else and you don't need to copy anything to the LightWave folders.

Hope this helps,
-Juanjo

thanks,
Nope, here you don't need to reactivate the plugin again. Are you trying to enable the plugin in offline mode, because currently this mode is not available yet.

Thanks,
-Juanjo
