Never tried, but maybe it should be possible to use M1 and PC via Team Render, but you need to install v2020.1.5-R4 under Windows:

Keep me informed.

I would love to try, but this one only works for R23 ?

If you are using OctaneX PR11 under Big Sur, you can also use C4D S24, with R23.xlib.
If you are using OctaneX PR14 under Monterey, you can also use R25, C4D S26 is not support4d for M1 chip, at the moment.

I will have to wait until there is one for R25. I have a solution that works for now (Blender with Cycles and Crowdrender), hoping to see Octane Network Render in the near future.

Ok, new M1 version based on 2022.1-XB1 is on the go, when ready, also R25 could be used on both os.
See you asap.

Hi All,
Jumping in.
I have one Enterprise license and one studio license.
On the primary machine, I run the Enterprise and I can see the other machine in the c4d Network rendering pop up window.
However, on the slave/node machine, I installed and run the Network render node but it gives me the error message that you can see on the attached screenshot.
Does that mean I need to have another Enterprise full license on every render node machine?
Thanks

Hi,
Octane Network rendering is different from C4D Team Render.
It is designed for adding the GPUs of the machines in your LAN to the Workstation via Ethernet in both Live View, and Picture Viewer/Render Queue final render, with animated and static scenes. So you can use its power in every phase of the scene preparation, speeding up a lot the workflow.
For Net render with commercial or subscription Enterprise licenses, you need to purchase extra Render-Node annual licenses for 99€, or pay monthly for 9.99€ per Render-Node machine:

You also need an Enterprise license for Master/Workstation, Studio licenses don't have Network Rendering support.

Beppe
