2 Are you guys happy with phpBB ? What would you prefer out of A) stick with phpBB, latest version, or B) migrate forum data to a new commercial v-bulletin system.

3 Are there any users here at all with screen resolutions (on machines you often use to use our website) lower than 1280 pixels wide.

4 Are there people here who would like to earn money or hardware by making proper, detailed training video tutorials for us.
1. Of course. Anything to help.

2. PHPBB is great, I could see vbulletin becoming useful for the "user blogs" in which members could create their own galleries / WIP stuff. Though it's a pain in the ass to work with vbulletin and I'd imagine the WIP forum gets more use than having to visit individual user's blogs. On the other hand it would be great to be able to pull up all of Enrico's or Andrian's work on one page, for example.

3. I visit often on both the ipad and iphone. Though with the current setup I haven't had much difficulty, and I completely avoid that phpbb app, I don't like it.

4. Sure, might be fun, but I'd probably have to do it as a "reverse" tutorial. As in I record some, send it over to someone who REALLY knows for corrections. For example I don't know enough about balancing the exposure vs fstop vs gamma to make a good tutorial on it. I could show how I generally do it and then make revisions after someone who knows how to "actually" do it tells me what I'm doing wrong... If that makes sense...

'suggest you to keep exactly the color code of this forum to keep the same ambiance with phpbb or vbulletin.

bye.

Well I will be glad to help in this area, especially for tutorials, as well as basic and advanced ones, I can cover 3dsmax workflow inside 3DS to prepare and export scenes, linear workflow for textures, exporting details, creating shaders and all the fine tune of Octane from start to the end, as well as many other aspects, Octane related.
As I have some experience as photographer I can give some insights about photography and practical use in Octane if needed.
I teach students in 3dsmax and Vray and I have some experience about creating tutorials, as well writing or speaking ones - English and Bulgarian.
Will be fun..

Sorry, no to the beta testing.
PhpBB is just fine.
Occasionally I use my wife's Archos Tablet - 10" screen, 1024 x 600.
I simply don't have quality kit for making video tutorials (only noisy built-in mikes), and anyway prefer written ones (which admittedly take a lot more time and effort to produce well). If, on the other hand, you would like to have some written tutorials produced, then by all means contact me. I have a reasonably clear writing style, and an excellent ability to clarify the complicated; in my previous position I trained all the graphic artists in news production.

Really hope that there will be more stuff from Andrian, he has shown that he is more than capable of creating tutorials. personally I want a little deeper understanding of the ies+a node school :ugeek:

1. I would love to become a beta tester, anything to help you awesome people :D
2. In my opinion scrapping phpBB should not be a priority
3. I've got 1920x1080 + 1280x1024
4. At the moment there is way too much going on unfortunately, maybe later however

This is probably too late of a post, but I would love to be a beta tester for the new site!
I'm excited to see it Radiance! :)
