Yea, it probably depends on your setup. I can see you are not running a full custom loop, so you need a higher airflow (200mm) in your case. Maybe does not add that much noise, but it will still be noisier than dead quiet. I was doing research myself yesterday around 1300W so thats why I had the links ready

. I'm building a full custom loop next week so needed to make a choice. When I saw your post I also realized that even if it is loud, it will only be loud under heavy load. And I'm rarely by my computer anyway when I do big renders so I ordered the G2 just a few minutes ago

I think you'll really like it, and you can't beat the price, for what you get. smicha swears by the Supernova 1600W (SF Leadex 1600W Titanium) for a reason that is escaping me right now, even if one does not need that much juice, per se.

Okay, I will concede that under full-hot-and-heavy-load (just did a massive render) it is neither quiet as an old lady blowing on a dandelion or a bunny wiping his ass with velvet... It is still much quieter than than the stock hybrid fans (one is at upper back spot) and maybe even my CPU's H60 under load... Perhaps a Supernova 1600W would never even begin to break a sweat with even four 980Ti or 1080Ti, and barely get the fan revving. If it is not too late to swap for 1600W, I think I would possibly go that route, if buying today. But (for anyone else reading) if some sound during renders is not a huge concern, the 1300W should be fine. At $182 (amzn) for 1300W G2, $308 for 1600W Gold, and $402 for 1600W Titanium, this would be a tough choice for sure...
