I noticed that, too.

Here's what I've been using as a still reference. The color is a little different than the shot that tehfailsafe put up. However -- I've got some work to do to get it to match. I was fiddling with the blue channel this morning trying to match the floor, but now I can see from what you've pointed out that I need to be in the red channel.

Thanks again!

Hey Richard, You're really close to the original scene! Good word!

I think you need to take down the exposure in Octane a bit, because the white areas on the floorsides, are a tad over exposed (The AntiAliasing becomes very harsh).. So bring that down, and adjust the gamma curve (I suggest wroking in linear mode). Then in Photoshop, some "Color balance" will let you go all the way. Also duplicate the layer, and add noise to it, and then some blur, and mix it with the original frame, and you should be really close to the film frame.

Also do a extra render in clay mode in Octane, adjusting the AO setting in direct light, and multiply that would help you get those dark little edges around the different segmants you see in the original, that yours is missing.

Fantastic piece of work. Personally I think your render looks more real than the screen grabs!
