It's very similar to what I'm doing.
I'd suggest getting a 4 PCIe x16 MB, I have a 2x slot one now and I have to upgrade to put more in my case. Should have planned better from the start, and it's only a small price difference in the 1155 socket motherboards.
And get the K version of the sandy-bridge chip. It's only $20 USD more but significantly more room to overclock. For example, my I7-2600K stock speed is 3.8Ghz, but I'm running it at 4.9Ghz very easily.
