hi Goldis,
some processes may require double renders,
though playing with render elements, active layer ID and environment Octanedaylight,
you can optimize your workflow.
attached a scene.

Hi Goldis,
I would recommend you use the environment OctaneDaylight instead of 3dsMax environment.
It is much more flexible and allows you to play with reflections, backplate etc .. and also with the Daylight.

Hi. I will try to use the professional translator.
Question very prime. Whether you plan to solve double pass
rendering layer for 1 render / I took your advice and I use
the sun but me is convenient to work through a render layer setup/and such option of visualization demands two times to set a task on a render

Hi Goldisart,
The ability to calculate different layers simultaneously, would be very comfortable, I agree.
But this should be asked to SDK developers.
Or maybe in 3ds Max, with a batch script that creates a list of differents Id with desired pass.

if it is not in the SDK please submit it to the task list because I never work in standalone .... I opened the program only 1 time ... my knowledge is limited in this program, I don't even know how to turn the camera somewhere
......
the batch script I think will not help . because it will again be 2 times more time to render . . . must be able to work directly through the software code of the octane render

Hi Paride ..about this.. Does the 3dsMax Environment need to be enabled? because if I don't despite I have a texture in the OCtane Daylight slot I get no light at all.. does the Octane Daylight Environment texture override the 3dsmax one?
