I'm sorry Sam - without actually being able to access your system, I would be guessing. There must be something different between your two systems which triggers this behavior, but I am out of ideas.

Yeah I understand...I just can't quite figure it out, but not giving up!

So is there any way to circumvent the plugins Checking/Converting materials when launched? Maybe another option under Poser's Render tab to launch a modified instance of OctaneRender plugin to read all materials from Poser fresh and ignore anything previously saved in the .pz3 file? Just wondering.

Thanks,
Sam

I had the same problem when I got a new PC.
First I had to change my drive letter from F to D to match the old drive path in my PZZ files.
Then I needed to add the new Runtimes to the library. After that it worked.

Paul, believe it or not, the searches are case sensitive and getting hung up on caps!

For instance, the plugin throws up the "Browse for Folder" dialog window indicating it could not find .....\GinaFace05L.jpg. The file in the location it's looking in (per file manager) is .....\Ginaface05L.jpg. It's not seeing it because its looking for Face, not face.

How the names got changed (if they did...maybe it's always been like this), or why this is NOT an issue on my old system remains a mystery.

Any ideas anyone????

Sam

Note: Just confirmed the spelling is identical on both machines. The plugin loads it up just fine on the old system, but doesn't like it on the new system. Hmmmm.
