My workflow is export the model from World Machine as a mesh .obj then use the normal map to fake the finer detail.

I am having the same problem. Has anyone found a real fix for this? Not a workaround.

If you are able to make the displacement map seamless it should slice the edge perfectly.
This is at least the way it works in World Creator.
