I realized that there is no problem while objects which have converted materials (old 2.2 octane materials converted , not vray or other) are hidden. When I unhide them max hangs after save (normal save or auto backup) .

This build breaks my 3DS Max 2017 licensing, had to revert back to 4.21

is anybody else using max 2017 getting that same error?

could you kindly share a scene (if you prefer in pm) where it reproduces your issue?
In point prior to unhide.
shall I have the converter activated when I open the scene?

2016 3ds max, simple models with vray materials.

when i press convert button it broke 3dsmax.
