Hey brasco,
Great script. Thank you for setting this up and sharing it.
Not sure why, but when you use the script to create an Octane Day Light, it doesn't place the Day Light object at world position zero (it's offset a bit) and it seems locked, unable to move or rotate it.

Hi Caldreemn,
The C4D Sun Expression is driving the sun's position, if you want to free move it, you can just disable or delete the tag.
I've added the Ctrl+Click functionality to the Daylight item so you can add one with a target and free move it
brasco_Octane_Menu v1.0.01.zip
Let me know if that works for you
I've added it to the first post too.
cheers,
brasc

Wow,
This is a massive time save, i have to jump into new scenes all the time to create models for bigger scenes and this script has just saved me a bunch of time to quickly get things rocking.

Hi guys,
I've just updated the first post with a version (v1.1.00) that adds v4.00 compatibility and a couple other minor fixes.
cheers,
