I'm very sorry and you should keep PMC kernel. ;)

If you can have long time then you should increase minimum ~120,000 samples per pixel for very good accuracy of caustics.

If you can't have long time then:
- you increase the scale of light área to blurrier caustics and to less samples per pixel.
or
- you may upgrade from your 1x GTX 970 to 4x GTX 980 Ti, sorry. NOTE: Currently, GTX 1080 isn't supported yet...

If you want animation then you may increase caustic blur to 0.01 or to 0.05 at PMC. ;)

Where can I find the dispersion coefficient of materials like glass? I only found it detailed for gemstones.
Which's the gemstone in your scene?

Unfortunately, lastest version of OR hasn't birefringence support yet for gemstones but few next years later. :)
