To reiterate my earlier statement, and to confirm @aoktar's comment - due to contractual obligations to our plugin developers. One specific issue is revenue sharing. For this reason, it is highly unlikely that we will ever allow for license swapping.

I would love to see the license swapping between users.

I am completely understand why license swap for single user is impossible. (revenue sharing)
What I don't understand is why it is so hard to create some way to swap licenses between users, because all revenue already was shared in this case.
Example:

User 1 (MAX) User 2 (4D) 1 lic MAX 1 lic 4D
After swap
User 1 (4D) User 2 (MAX) Still 1 lic MAX 1 lic 4D

Maybe good compromise will be to allow users to swap license between each other, but users who do it should pay a small fee to compensate a headache with license server/system and to give additional revenue to plugin developers.
