Spot rendering or region rendering did not work for me though. It still renders the whole scene, however it reduces the samples like it is spot rendering.
Yes, I think render region if not working in the Octane 3 engine right now, but Otoy are working on it.

Paul - I just wanted to say thanks for all your hard work, and taking over the development of this plugin (and thanks to t3 for all his hard work too). I had pretty much given up on it until you took over, and seeing that we already have a version using Octane 3, I finally upgraded from version 1, since plugin development is obviously very alive again. I just started playing with it tonight, and am quite happy with what I've seen so far. The stability and usability is sooo much better than it was before, and the Iray texture conversion is quite good as well.
Thanks again!!

very minor little bug occurs for me, pretty often. but not a real big deal.
whenever i start the render for the first time it seems that the lights arent calculated in (squares with emission in my case), after reload complete scene it works fine then. like i said, very minor

Thank you for making it possible alongside with OC Standalone timeframe.
I've experimented between object blur and camera blur.
It looks like camera blur only works. Is it possible to activate motion blur for the objects?

It's on the list of things to do - but is not simple - so is going to take some time to get done.

[Test] - Bugs Reports.
(Infos : Using DazStudio 4.8 Official (not the 4.9 beta))
- Problem to set manualy a focus to a point (the hand in the exemple)
- Sometime, i have to rebuild the scene or he do not restart the render
I will continue to test this new version.
Sincerly,
C.O

Migrating the plugin to OSX is not a trivial task, so it's something I will need to do once I've got through the Octane 3 backlog (so two/three months)?

Ye - it looks like Focus Picking is not working at the moment. This appears to be related to when you export a scene to ORBX, the Octane camera focal distance, etc is not set correctly in the ORBX. I am working on it - but it will take some time to fix.
