Great to hear a response Goldorak.

I appreciate that this month must be crazy busy with V3 (which we're all looking forward to), but what's being highlighted here is that there are forum posts which are not being answered.
As covered by the first post, this is most worrying for potential users, who are considering Octane and looking at the support etc.

For me, personally, I have several posts without a reply.

Whether the posts are for new user queries, feature requests or user error, I would appreciate a reply, particularly as a Licensed Customer.

Along side the developers and forum support, I too participate and help out with queries, but ideally posts should not go unanswered for days, weeks or in some cases, not at all.

Are developers spread too thin? Maybe.
The developers covering less apps certainly appear more active on the forums. Maybe something to consider . Just my thoughts :) .

Have to agree with this post.
Hoping after 3.0 is out there will be more time for responses. Probably an overworked and over loaded dev. with 3 plugins to support.

Good luck with the load.

Apologize if some questions had not an answer, but we try to do our best to help people in this forum.
Please take in consideration that, most of the time, to find the right answer is quite time consuming. We have to firstly correctly understand the question, try to reproduce it on our system, find the solution, answering back with screenshots and simple scene, when possible. Sometime there is not a direct solution and the question needs to be pointed to the devs, but what could seems as a stupid issue for a user point of view, it is not trivial viewed from the devs side
Sometimes the users ask for plugin questions in the general section and viceversa so it's not easy to get track of everything. Sometimes a simple search in the forum could save a lot of time waiting for an answer, a lot of questions have been answered hundred of times
Octane has a complete different approach compared with any CPU renderer and obviously it's not the panacea for everyone, but if you catch the difference, the advantages are surely more than the disadvantages, just my two cents ;)
Happy GPU rendering,
