Wow, that's great that the documentation has been updated to 2.0! Last time I looked it was still covering only up to 1.0.
I'm still wondering how to use a lot of the newer features since 2.0 that aren't yet documented. I guess the majority of my questions are about Maya batch rendering - how to automatically write the passes to directories, and how to write out more than 1 Octane render layer in a batch render (so far, all my attempts have failed and I'm not sure if it's possible). In fact, I wonder if Maya render layers work with Octane because that would be a way to do a lot of what I'm trying to do with more complex projects.
Also, the motion blur doesn't work like other renderers (errors out a lot with the message that I need more frames before) and the documentation doesn't really make sense about having to 'have frames before and after your animation'. What does this mean? Does this mean that I can't render anything that has animation before and after the frames I want to render? Or is it the opposite and I have to have animation before and after my sequence? Maybe an example would be helpful in the documentation to clarify.
