What did we learn from this post
He imported a box and it wouldnt achieve smoothing and what did you do to finally achieve smoothing

We learned that Octane fake round edges. Not that it's a bad thing. It just doesn't change the object geometry as I thought it would - like in CAD programs when you round or chamfer edges. So it works but the round edges can only be very small. Set it to about 0.001. Any higher and the edges starts to get distorted.
