Thank you guys for your kindly posts. I'm glad you like. I did a mistake with forgetting to convert sRGB now fixed. Hope you still like

Or did you mean 1h 20min?
Unfortunatelly, i meant 1h and 20min. but still not too bad for this resulotion i guess

It doesn't look real!!!
Jokes asside, I hope it's not full interior..
'Cos your times are too good for this resolution =)
hehe and what about the mirror?

btw i'd like to say it's a closed room but as you guessed it is not
And i tried to answer your questions about setup. hope i could. You may notice plactonic bulbs. in past, I've noticed better shadows by this way after some of tests.
I'll answer new questions with pleasure if you have some.
Thanks for watching..

Very sneaky sadece. Good idea for faster render times.

Seems true photorealism because PT is enough due to ambient light (= great area light -> shadows blurry and little visiable caustics blurry).
I like it!

Hi Sadece,
thank you for your insights.
The Rendersettings are quite optimized for speed. I figured out, that GI-Clamp of 1 gives that high contrast crisp look. If you go with 2 or 3 there are noticable differences in the light-diffusion, at least at my test scene.
Anyway...
Did you ever test Direct Lighting GI Diffuse Render Kernel?
I did a lot of tests and found out, that there are only slight differences between your PT settings and the following DL GI_Diffuse Settings (mainly in the shadows and color reflections).
Maybe you might give it a try with this scene and post a comparison? I have seen speed improvements of about 30-40%, with very little visible differences, at least at my test scene.
Because you know: Its all about true Photorealism, but sometimes more about Speed and Photorealism

.
Greetings,
ChrisVis

Hi,i agree with you about GI clamp.i didnt have enough time to play with setting for this image. all done and rendered in 10hours. so i went with my safest settings

(noise free)
i used to use DL - diffuse. and still usually compare just before final render. in most situation it has no big render time advantage when use same diffuse depth value in both kernels. but with your setting 1 will cause too darker image i guess. i'll test and share the result with your setting as soon as i have free time. the best is both speed and realism

Thank you Pxlntwrk. yeah i tried to achieve a vintage mood in post. but could get what i wish exactly. thank for the PMC tip

Looks great, everything is nice and you catched that vintage look/mood perfect (even without PMC

).
BTW i wonder what's up with Octane and wall thickness, why does it have so much issues cleaning up interior when it's "full room" and works so nice in this "paper thin" walls ? Is there any techical explanation/reson for this or ? thanaks and sorry for question/hijack

.

Thank you Lewis
it's ok.. no hijacking.i wouldnt mind even it was. we all are here to ask and get answers:)
about wall thickness i cant speak much bcos dont know techical details. i have read it as tip somewhere in the forum. and noticed the same tip in some vray interior setups too you can find in internet easily. and i just gave a try. honestly didnt see a big diffirance. i ll test more when have time to. maybe someone here may explain better in technical way.
actually there is no issues in closed setups too. just need more time to calculate since octane is an unbiased engine. think in vray bf/bf with very high subdiv value. could vray handle it in short time? i agree Octane is not the best for interiors but i believe in Octane team also our c4d dev. Ahmet. this is why i am here. by the time and having more experience with Octane i see my renders getting better day by day. maybe i changed the topic little bit but never mean to compare engines. just my two cents.
Cheers
