Live viewer demo 2.16.2
C4D R16.038

Without any tags or anything additional, when I move already existing objects around in the scene it used to update them in the live viewer without any additional tags. I can see the exact behavior happening in almost all of the octane tutorials also. That's why I thought maybe something is not quite right on my end.

I've attached a remake of my initial test file where I could simple move the cubes around and see it updating when I was testing the earlier versions of Octane. I'm not sure if it was working before with this current version because 2 minutes after installing it I messed up the settings but; right now I can tell you that it's not behaving that way.

The last time I've tried octane before this (where I'm SURE this was working) was at least 1 year ago though.

I've attached a test screen recording to show what it does not do. I know it does not have an octane object tag, but it used to work like that as far as I remember so I'm wondering :)

Cheers

ok see. That's expected behaviour. It updates materials, camera, lights, environment by default. Not objects. You should set on "Check geometry" for this as i said.

With or without the tags? Check geometries is already enabled (no tags as you can see)
Thank you
