Are you using 3rd party props in your scene or do you have original content? If I could reproduce your scene maybe I can reproduce the issue. If you could send me the scene where you have replaced the commercial content with primitives then I could restore the scene on my end. A list of 3rd party props you used would also be useful.

I have a lot of third party props in it but it is a bit of a moot point
as the scene now renders with camera movement.
it was my first scene with the new build and everything has worked since,
it was only after reading SciFiFunk having a similar issue that I posted but it appears to have fixed itself.
A cleanout of my DAZ temp folder may have been all that was needed, I do that often, or maybe a restart, or the 40C Adelaide heatwave and having to monitor my temperature with GPU-Z and keep whacking on the aircon by the tower.

Hope I am not repeating or misiunderstanding as I have not been able to use my computer for a while, so am a little out of touch with latest builds and forum posts but working on that tonight ;)

Sorry, not supported. You would likely run out of memory anyway since each copy of the plane would have to be added to its own scatter. I'm not sure how many blades of grass you have replicated but imagine multiplying that by 40000.

You can also simulate an infinite plane using a replicator with a grid pattern. I used a replicator and a plane for the base and I used a Replicator a Surface Replicator and a Sphere as my scattered object. This is the result:
