Have I 336 x 4 cudacores in rendering?

Ask you because i don't know if purchase a motherboard with 4 pci-e 16x for the future or not!
Yes, you'll have all 4 cards available if you add them all in the device manager and you'll get near linear speedup...
Just make sure all PCI-E slots are at least 4x speed, but a MB with 4x PCI-E 16x slots is best.

hi evry one just curious about memory usage on a dual processor single card, like say the gtx 295 which has 2x 896mb of ram totaling 1792mb ram, since its a single card does

the memory adds up as 1792mb or octane still sees it as seperate 896mb ramms and loads a scene file into both ? thanks

finally this is some info about rumored gtx 596 http://www.gnd-tech.com/main/content/46 ... rd-Spotted this is what aroused my curiosity :?:

Hi,

Octane requires the whole scene to reside in both gpus , so with a dual gpu board, you will only be able to use the memory of one gpu. In multiple gpu setups, you always will have to fit the scene in to each gpu, so the one with the smallest amount of memory onboard will govern the total available memory.
