There's also a 0.6nm thinfilm on all the glass, it's quite visible on the headlights.
I'm having lots of trouble with headlights and even more so with taillights on purchased models... Yours look fantastic! Can you explain a bit more?

Hi guys,
Here's some information about the headlights.
Basically the most important thing is to have double sided geometry on the glass covers of the lights, so you don't get a lens effect. (just like car windows)
Commercial models usually don't have this, so i manually extrude them and make sure the normals are always pointing outwards on all sides.
This will give you a straight transparency as is required instead of creating a lens and having a strange looking headlight.
For the interior i usually just use mirrors or in this case black plastic as in the original car.

Ah. I see. I give the double sided glass a shot, though I'm still having a few issues i think with the lights themselves. I'll post in the WIP and see if I can get it sorted out.
