Thank you for asking this questiongordonrobb wrote:Trying to decide wether to upgrade. Is there a way to take ZBrush fires and turn them into lightwave FibreFX?
You can make FiberMesh in ZBrush, then export it as curves to LWO, then in LW convert them to 2-point poly chains (Strand Maker), then you can use them as guides for FiberFX OR directly (as 2-point poly chains) for Octane fibers. And as Juanjo said, soon use FiberFX with Octane, WOW!gordonrobb wrote:Trying to decide wether to upgrade. Is there a way to take ZBrush fires and turn them into lightwave FibreFX?

Edit: Zbrush to FiberFX guides procedure is explained in the LW2015 manual (note: ONE Manual, no addendums anymore!!!! 2303 pages) on page 1044
