Thank you, because of you're suggestion i realized, this is also very usefull when you want to use more than 1 g2f figure in one scene (both with Redspec TGX)..just merge a new scene and add the second shader set to the second figure :D. works perfect

Actually it's much easier than that - simply save them into your My Presets.
You can do this by loading the .duf and then once it's loaded, select all materials in the Unused category by pressing CTRL+A.
Now select Copy to My Presets in the context menu.

They will now be in there conveniently waiting for you in every scene that you're working with - if started from the .duf or not ;)

Hope that helps

Cheers

I've got a question regarding your wet skin shaders (I'm aware they're not available as DAZ presets yet).

They look great, but how much post-production was done on the wet skin gallery images? Most importantly, were the water drops rendered or added in post? Would be great if you could provide a raw rendered image.

Hey Jazbee,

thanks for your question regarding RedSpec TGX Wet Beta.
The 3D water droplets dripping down her fingers are not included in the shaders and are meant to promote the shaders and give it a more dramatic feel.
Other than that there is absolutely no post work in this shoot, it's all straight out of Octane.

You can check out more examples in my gallery on deviantart here (also no postwork, other than color grading)

We also decided to record a brief video tutorial for our DAZ Studio customers.
This shows you how easily the shaders can be applied inside the OctaneRender for DAZ Studio plug-in on a Genesis 2 Female - based figure or character of your choice.

Let us know how you like it and if you'd like to see more videos like this.

Cheers and Happy Rendering

Cool, I'd be interested in buying the wet skin shader once you release it as a DAZ preset or standalone Octane, so let us know once it's out.

This would also be easily worked around by saving each as template as a preset. It would also then always be available, without having to use the .duf to launch Daz Studio. Unless requiring those files somehow means the plugin can't access them from a fixed location once Daz Studio closes and reopens.

Hello!
I just got the "Belle" version from DAZ. However, I cannot get the shaders to apply correctly. They seem to always be missing the diffuse texture (only the diffuse color (white) node is there. There is also no sign of the SSS map in the node structure. I am using the preview version 4 of the plug-in and DS 4.6.3.52
Any ideas what might be going on? The texture maps are all in the correct directory as per manual.
Ciao
TD

EDIT: Never mind. I saw the message about the update on your forums. Thanks TD

Hi Noel,

should I buy RedSpec TGX tailored for Geneis 2 or RedSpec TGX tailored for Mei Lin? Is RedSpec TGX tailored for Geneis 2 for all characters or will get every
character her own shader set?
Pls help for my purchase decision.
