Hi, I am testing network rendering using 2.11.1a plug in with the 2.11.1 standalone. Is there a switch that needs to be activated for viewport rendering? I turned on the slave in the network configuration tab and it states that the slave is running and enabled. Yet I am unable to see any difference in the viewport render times at all. Am I missing something? Really wish there was documentation about network rendering with 3ds max.
Any help is much appreciated
Thanks
-David

Thanks for the quick reply. I checked and I installed the proper version, 64, so it probably is something else. Checking all my versions:
Octane render is 2.11.1a plugin.
Standalone is 2.11.1 win64
We also tested on cinema 4D plugin and have had no problems.
Any help is appreciated,
- David

Hi there;
The octane light visible option like an vray invisible option but if you uncheck the visible option the light doesn't effect any surface mesh such as but vray effects light color Can you fix this on the next realese ?
Thank you.

Thank you for new release.
I found bug, noise is only static in upper left corner of image the rest of image has dynamic noise.

I agree
Sometimes it seems to me that static noise does nothing everything still moves like crazy

issue:
merging Octane proxies (from two scenes with different units) the scale is not respected.
Hi Karba,
could you add zipped proxy feature?
