Is there a time frame for a beta version of standalone with rift type renders.

I have a fire phone with "dynamic perspective", can we render content for this device?

ORBX LF export will be an option on the X.IO cloud service, which Octane CE is part of. We just made this announcement today, and we're expanding the beta worldwide this week, with a public beta in about 6-8 weeks.

We may make a preview tool for the LF exporter inside Octane standalone, which wouldn't need the heavy LF compression and rendering infrastructure of the cloud service.

The fire phone is an ideal viewer for this content, since it has head tracking built in. There are actually more interesting mobile devices coming to market soon that ORBX LightFields will be perfect for.

We have it running live at our Siggraph booth for anyone to try (along with an Oculus enabled build of Octane). See our twitter feed for pics :)
